What is Meditation?

Mediation can be defined in simple words as to control vibrations of mind. Vibrations of mind are uncontrolled thoughts change and unclear concentration on desired subject. There are different types of meditation practices one can use to learn to control thought process and use “gaze” a Sanskrit word for concentration for desired outcome.  Once mind has learned to follow commands, it results in lesser mood swings and so helpful in reducing stress and anxiety

While benefits of meditation are many, one has to be prepared for following

1. It takes time and sometimes considerable long time.
2. It can be frustrating to not see immediate results, but once you do, ocean of contentment is on other side.

There are different kinds of meditation practices. Some of these are

1. Yogic meditation.
2. Breath meditation.
3. Mindfulness meditation.
4. Buddhist meditation.
5. Bhakti meditation.
